Studies: Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics, Politics A-Level
About Me: Hello, I’m Tuhina and are probably busy evaluating the efficacy of public policy in every sphere from banking regulation to environmental policy. When I am not exploring the tension between neo-liberal and behavioural explanations for market performance and failing to model price changes on Excel, I enjoy drafting my school’s Environmental Policy which is currently under review by the Council of Trustees.
Aims: By analysing government intervention in the economy, we can explore the true extent to which government failure is more substantial than market failure as argued by Friedman. I hope to do this as well as learning more about his views around monetarism and more abstract areas of economics currently less accessible to younger economists.
Areas of Interest: Political Economics, Macroeconomics
Role: Economics Writer
